Volunteers are the heart of our museum. With the help of our talented Heart Guides, Docents, Interns Ambassadors and General Volunteers, we are able to provide the best possible experience for our visitors. These dedicated team members educate over 3,500 students each year through our school tour program. Each Heart Guide receives extensive training and ongoing education.
- Must be available to give tours 2 or more times every week during the regular school year
- Have a flair for public speaking
- Tour guide experience is not required, but is a plus!
Whether you have one day to dedicate or want to establish a set volunteer schedule, we can use your help! The Halle Heart Children’s Museum engages volunteers to help us with everything from sending thank you notes and invitations, providing social media support, cleaning, organizing or making and answering phone calls.
We welcome volunteers 10 years or older (10-17 yrs must be accompanied by an adult) as well as groups.

Ambassadors assist us in a variety of ways. Sometimes it is running a booth at a health fair, other times it is speaking to a group on our behalf about the programs we facilitate. These opportunities are scheduled as requests come to us.
