More than 200 Girl Scouts, troop leaders and chaperons took part in this year’s first Girl Scout Day on Sept. 27 at the Halle Heart Children’s Museum. Girls and adults from around the valley came together to learn the benefits of eating a balanced diet, not smoking and making sure exercise is part of their daily routine.
The scouts traveled through our interactive and hands-on exhibits where they received the tools needed to achieve true heart-healthy living. All scouts received a Lub Dub fun patch when they completed the Halle Heart Children’s Museum tour.
Watch for the next Girl Scout Day here at the museum, currently scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2015 and make sure you sign up as soon as the spots are opened. Reservations go quickly! If you don’t want to wait until April, scout troops are always welcome to tour the museum by appointment.
